Shujabad;
Shujabad is a historical city. The name of Shujabad is on his
ruler's name(Nawab Shuja Khan Sadozae سدوزئی) Nawab Shuja Khan, the second son
of Nawab Zahid khan Sadozae (سدوزئی)twice remained the governor (Subedar) of
Multan under Ahmad Shah Durrani's rule(also known as Ahmad Shah Abdali). He
founded the Shujabad city in 1750 and built the fortification wall between 1767
and 1772. He left Multan and came to Shujabad in 1772 to save his life after he
was badly defeated by bhangu Sikhs of Bhangi Misl. He hid himself in the fort
to save himself from Lehna Singh bhangi the new ruler of Multan and died in
1775 Ad and was buried outside the city in a locality known as Basti
Khairpur.[2] Old city of Shujabad was protected and made secured against the invaders
with the huge and high wall all around the city by the Nawab Shuja Khan. Though
the condition of the wall is deteriorating yet it is still in its original
position. It is very much planned city at that time. The arrangement of old
city is symmetrical. There are four Bazaars within the walled city i.e. Multani
Bazaar, Rasheed Shah Bazaar, Rail Bazaar and Chotaka Bazaar on the names of its
four respective doors (Railway Gate (open towards railway station), Multani
Gate (open towards Multan), Rasheed Shah Gate (having the tomb of Rasheed
Shah), Chutaka Gate (as Chutaka means crossing of four roads, four roads going
on different directions from this gate). Chandni Chowk is the center of all
Bazaars. In the ancient time all the gates were locked at night. Only little
outlets were being used for in coming and out going. Shujabad is also very
famous due to the presence of saints.

Geography and climate
The city is located in southern Punjab at almost the exact center
of Pakistan. The area around the city is flat, fertile land. The very hot
weather of this region makes it ideal for agriculture. There are many canals
providing water for cultivation in the region for the growth of crops such as
cotton, wheat and mangoes. The average temperature, during summer, is about 44
°C (111 °F), and in the winter about 3 °C (37 °F). Dusty winds blow in the
summer. Mango trees, palms / cotton / wheat / simplicity / near to nature
lifestyle / is a very important quality.

About Nova Homes Multan
Nova Homes Multan has (Alhamdulillah) been a running success ever
since the project’s inception. We have sold a total of 26 villas prior to the
launch event. Of these, 20 villas are under construction. The three model
houses are fully furnished and open to visiting any day of the week. The photo
albums provide a good insight in to what we have tried to achieve with this

Visiting the three model villas, however, provides an in depth

architecture and interior design firms: Magnum Opus and Studio O respectively.

Nova Homes Multan has (Alhamdulillah) been a running success ever
since the project’s inception. We have sold a total of 26 villas prior to the
launch event. Of these, 20 villas are under construction. The three model
houses are fully furnished and open to visiting any day of the week. The photo
albums provide a good insight in to what we have tried to achieve with this
project.
Visiting the three model villas, however, provides an in depth
experience of Nova Homes. The villas have been designed by Lahore based
architecture and interior design firms: Magnum Opus and Studio O respectively.
The concepts of these villas have been adopted from modern villas located in
Phase 5 and Phase 6 of DHA Lahore. All three villa sizes aim to provide a
modern lifestyle to their inhabitants; spacious living with maximum utility of
the covered area is a hallmark of the three villa sizes.

Gulgasht Colony (Urdu: Ú¯ُلگشت كالونى), (Punjabi: Ú¯ُلگشت كالونى)
is an area of Multan City in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at
an altitude of 118 metres (387 ft),[1] and is the location of a large police
station.[2][3]
The colony has a number of educational institutions. Government
College, Multan (also known as Bosan Road College, now Govt. Emerson College,
Multan) is the oldest institute of learning of Multan. Various public and
private schools and colleges provide education up to graduation level,
including Punjab College for Women (PCW), University of Education Lahore
(Multan Campus), British School and College Network, Govt.Science College, The
Central College, Leadership College Network, Superior College, and Institute of
Southern Punjab (ISP). The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE)
Multan is also situated in the area. There are several private schools and
colleges which follow foreign curricula like the British GCE Ordinary Level/Advanced
level and the IB within the city. The institutes like La Salle High School,
Multan Public School and College, Girls Public School and College,
Comprehensive Boys High School, FB Link Govt. Girls Comprehensive Secondary
High School, Model High School For Boys, The Educators, Jinnah Highs,
Bloomfield Hall, Nishat High School, Zikrya Public School, Zamir Public School
and Beacon House attract students from all over Southern Punjab. Multan Public
School and College with its 97-acre (39 ha) campus is one of the largest and
better public schools in Pakistan.
Bahauddin Zakariya University formerly known as Multan University
is the main source of learning higher education for this region.
Gulgasht Colony used to be a residential area, which quickly became
commercial and a popular modern business centre of the city after old Chowk
Bazar and Cantt shopping areas. This modern locality is a commercial hub with
many restaurants, commercial banks, hospitals, health clinics, trade agencies,
fashion boutiques, shopping malls, super markets, department stores, beauty
saloons and décor stores. The colony hosts a variety of restaurants and food
chains like Pizza Hut, Hardees, Glorea Jeans Coffee, Jhoke Restaurant, Shah
Jahan Grill, Eat On, AFC, Lasani Foods, ABC Foods and Ghauri Foods.
Up to 1970 there was only one school i.e. Aligarh Model School.
There was no clinic of any doctor. Only one medical store naming Mannan Medical
Store near Gool Bagh. There were only three barber shops: one in Gardaizi
market, other in Mubeen market and yet another near Gool bagh. There were about
eight shops encircling Jalal Masjid. Tongas was the only available means of
travelling. There were two water tanks of water for horses at Jalal Masjid
Chowk. Even ice was not available. However, in the evening two men used to come
